RCade

If you're looking for a smart all-in-one cabinet to house your RC2014, then the Picade cabinet from Pimoroni is worth looking in to.  Whilst it's designed for a Raspberry Pi and comes with joystick and big coloured buttons, with just a few laser cut parts, it can be turned in to a neat home for your RC2014.  A full writeup is on the RC2014 Blog, and the laser cut files can be downloaded from Thingiverse

Electromagnetic Field

EMF Camp was absolutely awesome this year!  It was great to meet lots of the people that got their RC2014 at EMF Camp 2 years ago, as well as many of you from the RC2014 community.  The RC2014 workshop on Friday night was a huge success, and also gave me the benefit of some troubleshooting on Satruday morning!  The RC2014 stall on the night market was very popular, probably helped by the Blade Runner-esque atmosphere in the Nullsector.  Bring on 2020!

Stickers!

Finally the accessory that everybody wants for their RC2014 is here! That's right, Stickers!  The ultimate way to brighten up any laptop and tell everyone in the coffee shop which computer you would rather be using!
All Tindie orders will ship with one of the die cut logos and a module shaped sticker while stocks last.
Or come and pick one up at the Retro Computer Festival!

Retro Computer Festival

If you can get along to the Centre For Computing History in Cambridge this weekend, 15-16th September, you're in for a great time.  Not only will there be a RC2014 display, but so much other retro computing goodness!  Make sure you come and say Hi, and remind me of your name as it's getting harder and harder to keep track.

UK RC2014 Meetups - Bristol

The inaugural RC2014 meetup was held last month in Sheffield, with a turnout of 10 (or was it 11?) people having some good geeky fun over a couple of pints.  This month I'll be travelling to Bristol for more of the same.  If you want to come along, please sign up for a free ticket on Eventbrite.

Watch out Cambridge. I'm coming for you next month!

Discount Code

Nice and easy this time.  Simply use the discount code NEWSLETTER15 at the checkout to receive 11% off of any RC2014 product until the end of September.
