RC2014 to sponsor OSHCamp 2019

August 31 - September 1 2019 will be my fourth OSHCamp event, the second one which I have been a speaker at, and the first one I have sponsored.  This really is a great event that's grown from the Open Source hardware Users Group and is part of the Wuthering Bytes tech festival at Hebden Bridge.  This looks like it has a great lineup again this year, and all attendees will get some RC2014 goodies in their goody bag! Come along if you can!

2014th RC2014

Congratulations to Andrew from Chesterfield! You are the proud owner of the 2014th RC2014! Who'd have expected that there'd be 214 of them out there, let alone 2014! Sights are now set on the next big round number; 4096 :)

Liverpool MakeFest 2019

June 29 is the fifth Liverpool MakeFest, and the RC2014 will be in attendance again this year.  Liverpool MakeFest holds a special place in RC2014 history as this was the first public event that the RC2014 was shown back in 2016. It's a great day out for the whole family, so come along and say Hi if you can!
How easy is the RC2014 to build? Very easy, particularly if you are 7¾ years old! Sagan gives it a rating of 10 out of 10 because Sagan is smart!

Easter Discount Hunt

Congratulations to all of you that took part in the annual Easter Discount Hunt.  This year the clues were spread out across
RC2014 websiteTindieTwitterInstagramGitHub, and Google Groups. The answer was, of course, EGGANDCHIPS :-)

Maker Faire Berlin

It was great to meet some of you at Berlin Maker Faire last month. Lots of awesomeness all round!
It's worth pointing out that the recent announcement about Make: closing down is only for the US parent company, and Make DE is still going and still running Maker Faires in Germany

Discount Time

I know that this is the part of the newsletter that you all skip to! So, how about a 19% discount off of the RC2014 Mini? Ok, just enter the discount code NEWSLETTER2019 at the Tindie checkout before the end of June. Easy!
