You are receiving this email because you signed up to the RC2014 Community Newsletter or have bought an RC2014 homebrew computer, and I think you'll enjoy reading this - However, I fully understand that nobody likes spam.  That is why here at RC2014 Towers we are fully GDRP compliant and you can change your preferences at any time with the link at the bottom

VCF West 2019

A Vintage Computer Federation event is the annual highlight for anybody that enjoys the old hardware, and VCF West has been on my radar for quite a few years now.  Sadly, I'm still not able to make it there this year either - however, that doesn't mean that it'll be devoid of RC2014 goodness!  Longstanding RC2014 supporters Jay Cotton and Tom  Szolyga will have a booth there with a whole range of different RC2014 setups.  So if you're lucky enough to be near Mountain View, California on 3rd or 4th August, make sure you pay them a visit.

OSHCamp 2019

Just a quick reminder that OSHCamp is being held at the end of August in Hebden Bridge, and is a fantastic weekend for those of you in to Open Source Hardware.

RC2014 is sponsoring the event, and attendees there will be the first to get their hands on the new RC2014 Micro, so snap up a ticket quick!

Liverpool MakeFest 2019

It was another fun time at Liverpool MakeFest this year, which has now become the UKs biggest maker event.  It was great to meet so many of you face to face, even if a few of you did have to stop me mid-spiel to say "Yes, I know what the RC2014 is - I have one already!" :-)
At just 12 years old, Justin Campbell might be one of the youngest RC2014 users out there, but he's started a YouTube channel making videos about the RC2014 and other bits of vintage electronics. Give him a bit of encouragement with a subscribe or a thumbs up!

London Retro Meetup Group

After searching for, and failing to find a Meetup group in London* that covered the RC2014, Dave Snowdon decided to set up his own. Sign up now to be notified of upcoming meetings.
* That's London, UK, not London, Ontario ;-)

Discount Time

I know that this is the part of the newsletter that you all skip to! So, how about a 17% discount off of the RC2014 Pro? Ok, just enter the discount code PRO17OFF at the Tindie checkout before the end of this month. Easy!
