Z80 Kits Shop Launch

Exciting news for retro computing fans in the European Union and around the world! To comply with new EU tax laws, RC2014 products are now available at z80kits.com

Since learning that Tindie is unwilling/ unable to comply with the new tax laws, the focus here at RC2014 Towers has been to find a legitimate way to sell kits in to the EU with minimal disruption for customers.

z80kits.com has been built to solve this problem. EU taxes are paid at the point of sale and the kits are shipped swiftly via DHL that handle all the paperwork and duty so that there are no unexpected charges or delays for the customers.

For EU customers, z80kits.com is the only place to buy RC2014 kits. We will no longer be shipping to the EU via Tindie.

For the rest of the world, customers can choose between Tindie and z80kits.com
That time is upon us again when Retro Challenge is nearly here. There's still time to enter, and it would be great to see some more RC2014 projects again this year!

8085 CPU designed for RC2014!

He's done it again! This time Phillip Stevens has built an 8085 CPU module for his RC2014. Read all about it on his blog here

Retro Tiny Multitasking on a RC2014

Over on the RC2014-Z80 Google Group, Ladislau Szilagyi has created a lot of interest in his RTM/Z80 operating system. You can check out the code on GitHub or see a short demo by Lumír Vaněk on Twitter
There are a lot of approaches people take when making a case for their RC2014, but we particurly like the use of MakerBeam in this one on the Custom PC Hardware YouTube channel.
Since the last newsletter there's been an update to the Zero to ASIC course I've been doing. Take a read on the deep dive in to mosfets I took on the blog here
