Black Friday Cyber Monday 2021

It's that time of the year again where your inbox is overflowing with Black Friday Cyber Monday deals all competing for your hard earned money. So, of course, z80kits.com is no different!

This year there will be a 17.5% discount on all Base Kits, Core Modules, Expansion Modules and Backplanes from Friday November 26th through to Monday 29th if you use the discount code BFCM2021 at checkout.

Please note that shipping times tend to extend a little bit at this time of year, so please be patient.

New Product Launch - Pi Pico VGA Terminal

Last week the Pi Pico VGA Terminal was launched. This module uses a Raspberry Pi Pico running PicoTerm to deliver either 80 column mono or 40 column colour text to a VGA monitor. VT100 style escape codes are supported, as well as some USB keyboards.

This is available exclusively at z80kits.com

Retro Computer Festival 2021!

It was fantastic to get down to Centre for Computing History in Cambridge last month. Great to see so many old friends and old computers there, along with some new ones too. Take a look at this video from Wifi Sheep for a good roundup of the event
This video by Custom PC Hardware is a nice introduction to managing Z80 assembly code using an online editor and running it on a RC2014 Mini.
