Black Friday / Cyber Monday is back!

As I'm sure you know from your inbox, it will soon be Black Friday. Love it or hate it there is no getting away from this annual event. This year z80kits.com has 14% discount on all RC2014 kits, modules and backplanes (excludes 3rd party products sold on the site) for all of you that love it. Simply use the discount code BFCM2023 at checkout over the 4 day weekend.
And for those that hate it, you can still make your purchase and simply not use the code :-)
Also note that there will be a price increase on many items from December 1st thanks to general price rises over recent few years

Retro Computer Festival

Once again the Computing History Museum in Cambridge put on a fantastic event this year. Huge thanks to all the staff, exhibitors and visitors that made it such a wonderful weekend.
If you want a feel for what Retro Computer Festival was like, or what's at the Computing History Museum, Bil Herd and June from Nibbles and Bytes sent their roving reporter Jonathan Pallant to the event for a live stream. It's a great video despite the bumbling idiot 38 minutes in!

More Tynemouth Kits

Following on from the Minstrel 2 and Minstel 3 kits announced in the last newsletter, a Joystick Module and 68B50 Serial Module from Tynemouth are now available from z80kits.

NeoPixel Modules back in stock

Apologies to those that have been waiting, but the NeoPixel modules (both the 8x8 Matrix and the Short Board) are now back in stock! Grab them before they run out again!

TMSEMU - An emulated TMS9918A

The TMS9918A is a great graphics chip, but is limited by composite video output and no serial console. These have been addressed by Shiela Dixon with her TMSEMU that is compatible with existing TMS code but boasts crisp HDMI video and basic serial support. The first batch sold out but there is a wait list on Tindie to sign up for notification when they are back in stock.
