Easter Egg Hunt Is Back

Once again the ever popular RC2014 Easter Egg Hunt is back, and this year  it is bigger than ever!  The Easter Bunny has sprinkled a selection of clues have been spread across z80kits, Mastodon, GitHub, RC2014.co.uk, Twitter, Tindie, Instagram and Google Groups. There might even be a clue hidden in this newsletter! Decode these clues and it will give you a discount code worth 15% off of checkout at z80kits.

The clues will all be live from midnight tonight through to midnight Monday 1st April GMT, and the discount code will be valid until Monday 8th April.

SID-Ulator Sound Module

Following on from last months launch of the Why Em-Ulator Sound Module, the SID-Ulator Sound Module brings emulated SID music to your RC2014. Easily programmable, even from BASIC, this recreates some of the most iconic sounds of 80s home computing with a nano SwinSID hiding under the dummy 28 DIP chip.
The Why Em-Ulator Sound Module has been popular since its launch, and even has this build video by socketwench which is makes for delightful viewing.

EMF Camp 2024

Electromagnetic Field, May 30th - June 2nd, is a highlight of the RC2014 calendar, and 2024 is set to be better than ever.  Proposals are in for RC2014 workshops, a stall at Null Sector and even a talk.  Look out for updates in next months newsletter.

EU Shipping and VAT charges

From April 1st, z80kits will no longer be pre-charging VAT for orders to European Union countries. This allows for orders to be sent by Royal Mail and will result in huge savings on shipping.  VAT charges will still apply, but these will be collected and processed by the local postal service.
