Retro Challenge 2024

Congratulations to everybody that took part in Retro Challenge this year. Once again the standard was very high, and a pleasure to see what projects everybody was working on. The RC2014 category has been judged, and a huge congratulations to Robert Price and his Rotary Encoder Module.  I highly recommend a look through his blog as there's some great detail in there. Robert has won a Classic II and a set of PCBs that started off this whole RC2014 malarkey in the first place!

Honorary mentions also go to Shiela Dixon and Olav Omdal for their entrants too. My ZX81 Module will have to wait until the next Retro Challenge to get up and running. Thanks go to Eric and Mark for their work in organising and judging RC2024!

RomWriter for RomWBW

Here's a little sneaky peek at the RomWriter for 39SF040 that is coming soon. The board is for anybody that wants to upgrade or reprogram their RomWBW ROM but doesn't have an EPROM programmer. It is totally standalone so doesn't rely on Windows, Mac or Linux. Anything that can put a file on an SD card will work! It has one job - writing RomWBW ROMs. That's it. Available from December 11th for just £15

Retro Computer Festival Review

The Retro Computer Festival in Cambridge is always a great event and this year did not disappoint. Tickets sold out really quickly this time, so apologies to those that weren't able to get in. I'll try to give you more notice next year. For those in the RC2014 community that did make it in, it was great to see you all there!
